Added the Synthesize button that generates an algorithmic summary of all signals for a ticker. Scores insider activity, analyst consensus, news sentiment, and pattern detection into a single 0-100 consensus score. Each section now shows its data window (60d, 7d, 90d) for full transparency. Added this build notes page to show the product evolution. Driven by a simple question from early feedback: "I see the signals, but so what?"

Built a pattern detection engine that analyzes 90 days of insider transactions to identify accumulation patterns (multiple insiders buying, zero selling), coordinated selling, and buy/sell ratio shifts. Added context lines to individual insider cards ("Largest insider transaction in 90 days", "$2.1M transaction") so every signal answers the question "why should I care?" Heat Score algorithm updated to boost signals with strong context. Built in response to product leader feedback: "help me understand why the signal matters."

Built from a single problem statement: "I'm an active investor trying to cut through the noise. I don't trust news sites. Tracking credible sources gives me an edge over mainstream coverage." Shipped a real-time signal feed pulling insider transactions, analyst consensus, company news, and sentiment data from Finnhub's free API. Scored by a Heat Score algorithm that ranks signals by source credibility and recency. Deliberately scoped to exclude login, social scraping, mobile app, and AI summaries. Ideation to live prototype in under 3 hours.
